Judy has over 30 years experience teaching both dogs and humans. A graduate of the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers with a Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC), Judy is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer—Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). Judy Gamet, BS Dance Education
Owner: Dogs Can Dance
After forming Motion Dynamics, a dance and aerobics business, Judy decided to combine her lifelong career of teaching dance with her love of training dogs. She credits her Rottweiler, Meadowood’s Bella Mayhaus, CGC, as the impetus behind Dogs Can Dance, a canine freestyle program. Judy has taught freestyle workshops throughout the United States, promoting her DVD series, and her new program for senior dogs and overweight dogs, Paws 4 Fitness. Bella’s legacy lives on in Luc and Annie, Judy’s current competition partners. Judy is also a member of APDT.

Judy teaches all levels of freestyle at ARF—from beginner to competition—and also offers private consultations for personal freestyle choreography throughout the Bay Area. Judy has taught at ARF since 2006.
